I had the chance to shoot the Hilltopper Relays track meet this past weekend for the WKU Herald. My shots ran with a photo page, article, and online gallery.

This week I found my final story project for the semester. Meet Rydell Mayes Jr., a single father from Murfreesboro, Tennessee who is in the process of transitioning from amateur to professional boxing. He works as a boxing trainer for several clients and raises his two boys, who also hope to box one day like their father. I’m really xcited to keep shooting this one.

While working on a recent project in Appalachia, I also got the chance to make portraits of several new faces in the hollow in which I was working. They were published in the WKU College Heights Herald the following week.
